Gluten free oatmeal pancakes and oatmeal porridge with Nutella (2 breakfast recipes I love)

I lost the images I took this day , so for that reason I will post this 2 together. Specially since the oatmeal with Nutella is more a suggestion than a recipe ! For the Chocolate syrup and the Nutella recipes, check "in my kitchen section". They have been posted there for a while now. I am a firm believer that you eat what your body wants at any time. If I want breakfast for dinner, or for lunch, I said why not?

INGREDIENTS

1 1⁄2 cups gluten free rolled oats 1⁄4 teaspoon salt 1⁄2 teaspoon baking powder 1⁄2 teaspoon ground cinnamon 1 egg, lightly beaten 1 cup unsweetened vanilla flavor almond milk 1⁄2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions

Put the oats in the blender or food processor and blend about one minute, or until ground to a flour consistency. Combine oat flour, salt, baking powder and cinnamon in a large mixing bowl; mix well. Combine egg, milk, and vanilla in a small bowl and mix well. Stir liquid mixture into dry mixture; mix until just moist. Allow resting 5 minutes. Heat a nonstick large skillet or griddle over medium heat. When hot, pour 1/4 cup batter for each pancake. Cook until bubbles form on the surface of the pancake. Turn over and cook until lightly browned. Top with my clean eats chocolate syrup or any organic and clean toppings you want. Enjoy it!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk

  • 1 cup water

  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 1 cup whole rolled gluten-free oats

  • 2 tablespoons of home made clean Nutella

  • Top with homemade chocolate syrup or any toppings you want

Directions

Set a saucepan over high heat. Pour in the milk and water. Add the salt and vanilla extract. Bring the liquids to a boil.

When the milky water is boiling, pour in the oats. Stir quite vigorously. When the water returns to a boil, turn down the heat to low. Simmer the oats, stirring every few minutes, until the oats are creamy and plump, the liquid fully absorbed, about 15 minutes.

Turn off the heat and cover the pan. Let the oatmeal sit for five minutes to fully absorb the liquid. Then add the Nutella and mix it well.

Make it sweet with your favorite sweetener , for me is enough the Nutella and the syrup.

enjoy it!
